Sad that the polygon is so heavy, thats ridiculous. My 1999 cannondale 700 super V with an added storage bag, personalized license plate and holder, portable tire pump, safety lights, and bike lock still only weights 35.2 lbs.

Sure its neat, but having all the braking power in the front is dumb, its a bike, your just gonna send yourself end over end, shouldve been the other way around

For anyone wondering he removed preinstalled volume spacers that reduce the travel length of your suspension for more compression. That results in more travel, less air compression and therefore a 'smoother ride'. Both too many and too few volume spacers have downsides though

Great, thorough review. Subbed right away question: how much of a drawback is it that the speed is limited to 20 miles an hour? Well, that seems plenty fast to me, especially with cargo, it does limit how much you mix it up with cars.

Can you do a video on the rear suspension and testing it out

I bought one and dealing with Yotobike on the damaged bike has been a nightmare. I have owned it for two weeks and haven't been able to ride it. I'm waiting for parts from China and Yotobike is silent about how it will be fixed under warranty. I wouldn't recommend Yotobike to anyone.

Excellent video! I just installed my Zoom front/rear kit (no manual). Your info definitely did the job. However, I have about afoot of extra brake line on the front brake. Is it OK to cut (with the brake barb tool) a live hydraulic line? Will oil be squirting all over the place? I'll be removing the connection at the master cylinder and cutting there, then install new barb. TIA.

I have been riding this exact model for a year. I love it. It is fast, responsible, agile. I use it for short and long all day XC rides and it is super reliable.

Just an update from 2024 for anyone looking at this bike. I purchased this bike on sale 449 out the door. While assembling the bike they must have updated because there is now internal routing for a dropper post. Having a blast on it.

I just ordered an XP 929 for about 1199 USD from bikes online. Has the same components as the 919 but with carbon frame and has the Recon instead of the Judy Rock Shox. What an awesome deal. Bikes online lowered the price of the 919 to 850 USD. The 939 also available for 1099 USD which has mix SLX and XT components with aluminum frame and a slightly better brake rotor.

For the money, the Cycsplus should be bang on the pressure. No excuses. The Cycsplus is also less value in that the additional parts it needs to offer additional choices of valve/use of hose, are detachable instead of built in. In this day and age for me this is a lazy mindset when designing this and other than size (Cyc is obviously the choice if carrying in a pocket on a ride), not worth the money in light of what the Fanatic offers for about a third of the price. Excellent review with actual evidence as well as opinions.

Hi there Im really considering a C606 as im not overly interested in the bugs shown in navigation. Can you confirm that the device fits in a Garmin mount as i want to use an F3 stem mount. Great review + detail helped me I hope they provide regular FW updates to help improve the device.

I nearly purchased an Aventon Ramblas last week, but after a test ride, I decided against it. There was no bike dealers in my town so I had to drive 150 km to Victoria, BC, just to find a bike shop that allowed test rides. Kudos to Aventon for the 100 Nm torque engine, which is excellent for larger riders like myself (220 lbs) when climbing hills. The torque is impressive, but unfortunately, Aventon cut corners on other aspects of the bike. In my opinion, the harmonics and overall ride quality are not well-matched. The cheap front forks combined with the hardtail design make this one of the roughest e-bikes I've ever ridden. I felt every bump on the trail in my wrists and back during the test ride. Additionally, the 100 Nm torque engine sounds like an over-revved electric drill and is much louder compared to other e-bike engines like Bosch or Yamaha. Ultimately, the Ramblas wasn’t the right fit for me, and I ended up finding a better match with a GasGas Enduro on sale. Happy trails, everyone!
